It also features fast deployment and simplified management. This service Intelligent PacketWave system can handle thousands of subscribers, whether they are spread out in suburban neighborhoods or located in densely populated urban areas.

This system is based on the IP protocol suite, and is optimized for efficient handling of bursty packet traffic. The system incorporates advanced MAC and PHY layer technology to provide an extremely robust link, which is able to operate in OLOS and NLOS conditions.

The SU units can be set up literary anywhere within the BSU coverage area, enabling hot-spot connectivity to non-traditional locations such as public-parks for example. The operator can serve, literally, hundreds of WiFi hotspots from a single Aperto BSU.
